Digging deep in her memories she reflects on what she is leaving behind. As the evening unfolds, the Congo's odors, vapors and cacophony mingle, the new immigrant guides us through the streets and districts of the megalopolis that is Kinshasa, the 4th most populated city of Africa. Little by little, we encounter the creaturesof thispowerful capital, its youth competing in a fashion war, its street children and child soldiers, its Kombi drivers, this uniquepublic transport in which the population piles in,  searching for food...

Conceived almost 40 years ago, Michel Garneau’s text, Les Neiges, still possesses a fanciful charm. rifting snow, wind dazzling frost, and the crackle of collapsing ice. Then a storm of words, white as winter. Words to express silence, solitude and the cold. Les Neiges presents a poetic, poignant and amusing look at our chilliestyet, most nostalgic season and what it often has to offer – in abundance.

TEMPUS EXTRAORDINARIUS

A play suitable for all ages

Duration: About  1hr 10mins

february 7th to 10th, 2018 @ 8pm

MATIneE - SAturday february 10th @ 1:30PM

* WITHOUT SURTITLES - THURSDAY feb.8th, 2018*

A new play by Sophie Brech and Louis Fortier

Starring SOPHIE BRECH and LOUIS FORTIER

by Théâtre Fools & Feathers

Invited by L'UNITHÉÂTRE

« Tempus extraordinarius » is not the sequel to  Le Destin tragicomique de Tubby et Nottubby, but its fiery echo, where the fortuitous meeting of two vagrants, one night, on the docks of la Seine in Paris, allows the world to preserve a glimmer of humanity as everywhere extends a new era of terror.

Confronted to a world deprived of all freedom, condemned to survive, Tubby and Nottubby will be carried by the turbulent flows of History and Time, in an epic journey of their own selves.

Above the world’s barbarity and chaos, « Tempus extraordinarius » is a tribute to awe, to dreams, to hope, and to life.

Please note that this show is bilingual (French/English) but that the dialogue is mostly French.

She prays that God make an exception for her and he does. But not in the way she expected. It appears that being a servant of Godis more complicated than it seemsand that it involves many unforeseen obligations.
