'Journey with us'
Twenty -five years! That's quite the milestone and one that L’UniThéâtre is very proud to have achieved. It has taken many dedicated people devoting themselves to a deeply held belief in the theatre to have made this possible. To all of them I say THANK YOU! With all my heart! And now - we look to its future...
This anniversary season, we are very pleased to present an eclectic mix of shows and new initiatives that we hope will resonate deeply with our audience.
This is our postage stamp year, marking each show as custom-made for your enjoyment and engagement. A journey across three continents, this 25th anniversary season promises journeys - temporal, physical, emotional and spiritual.

Conceived almost 40 years ago, Michel Garneau’s text, Les Neiges, still possesses a fanciful charm. rifting snow, wind dazzling frost, and the crackle of collapsing ice. Then a storm of words, white as winter. Words to express silence, solitude and the cold. Les Neiges presents a poetic, poignant and amusing look at our chilliestyet, most nostalgic season and what it often has to offer – in abundance.

« Tempus extraordinarius » is not the sequel to Le Destin tragicomique de Tubby et Nottubby, but its fiery echo, where the fortuitous meeting of two vagrants, one night, on the docks of la Seine in Paris, allows the world to preserve a glimmer of humanity as everywhere extends a new era of terror.
Confronted to a world deprived of all freedom, condemned to survive, Tubby and Nottubby will be carried by the turbulent flows of History and Time, in an epic journey of their own selves.
Above the world’s barbarity and chaos, « Tempus extraordinarius » is a tribute to awe, to dreams, to hope, and to life.
Please note that this show is bilingual (French/English) but that the dialogue is mostly French.
