Camp Multi-Arts 2019
This multidisciplinary summer camp immerses kids in the arts for two weeks. Presented in collaboration with La Girandole, the Centre d’arts visuels de l’Alberta, and the Centre de développement musical.
WHen and where is it held?
The camp runs Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm from August 12th to 23rd at École Maurice-Lavallée (8828 95 Street, Edmonton).
The final performance for family and friends will take place on Thursday, August 22, and there will be a performance at the Kids Fringe on August 23.
What is it?
During this two week summer day camp, your child will be immersed in dance, theatre, music and the visual arts. By the end of the camp, the participants will have created a performance of their own, incorporating these diverse art forms, which will be presented to their family and friends. Participants will also have the special occasion of performing for the general public at the KIDS FRINGE Festival! This year, our theme is BizArt— we will explore everything strange and bizarre!
And everything takes place in French, bien sûr!
Who is it for?
This camp is for French-speaking students in grades 1 to 9. We accept students in francophone school programs as well as in French immersion programs; if your child can communicate in French, they will have a blast!
HOW much does it cost?
$410 per individual registration, for two weeks.
$385 per child for families registering two or more children, for two weeks.
Camp registrations are open! Register your child(ren) until July 15, 2019.
There is a $50 cancellation fee until June 30. This fee is increased to $200 starting July 1, and registrations become non-refundable as of August 11, 2019 (one day before the start of the camp).
REGISTRATIONS ARE CLOSED FOR THE 2019 EDITION OF THE CAMP
