production invited from la troupe du jour (saskatoon)

LIGHTS, SET DESIGN, AND DIRECTED BY David Granger
STARRING Marie-Claire Marcotte
SOUND DESIGN: Gilles Zolty

Mission Bird is covered in blood, a young woman of relentless curiosity and endowed with a certain social inaptitude. In an attempt to better understand the circumstances of her mother Irma’s death, Mission Bird finds her way from the laundromat to a man’s apartment in which she meets a dog—a dog that could sit in its own fat—who is also named... Irma.

This deeply moving comedy weaves together hilarity and despair while exploring the world of Mission Bird who is only looking to find human connection.

Content warnings: themes of self-harm, mention of violence towards animals
