THEATRE WORKSHOPS

in alberta's francophone and french immersion

Each year, L’UniThéâtre presents a production for young audiences that tours Alberta’s francophone and French immersion schools. Present to your students a show made just for them without even leaving the school! With the purchase of a presentation at your school, you will receive a learning guide that will help you prepare your students for the show through entertaining educational activities. These workshops are offered starting at $135.

How does one create an interesting character for a play? Thanks to acting, improvisation, physical expression, writing, and drawing exercises, students will learn to create dynamic characters for the stage.

Collective creation

In this workshop, students will work together to create a show to share with their peers through acting, improvisation, physical expression, and staging exercises.

Movement

For those interested in or new to theatre, we explore basic notions of movement. Students will be able to find an authentic and relaxed stage presence by learning breathing and relaxation techniques as well as Laban exercises.
