Four Directors, Gab Gagnon, Joey Lespérance, Nicole St-Martin, & Valécia Pépin, each offer different interpretations and views surrounding the idea of waiting, with a cast of community players. We all have been waiting, waiting for the pandemic to end, waiting for a vaccine, waiting for that one person to join the Zoom call, some might even say that to live is simply to wait. An incredible design team joins them to offer their own perspective as well, both supporting the performance and drawing from it to offer an installation of design for eventual hopefuls to visit at La Cité Francophone. The performances will be uploaded to Vimeo where ticket buyers can watch on demand with a password for the remainder of the weekend.

 Lorsque la communauté rurale de Girouxville découvre que leur demande de fonds pour rénover le curling rink local a été refusée, les dames du Club d’étoile décident de prendre les choses en main en construisant une allée de cinq-quilles dans l'espoir de créer une attraction touristique pour sauver leur village rétrécissant. Mais, les événements prennent une tournure inattendue lorsqu'une vedette de l'Est déshonorée du monde professionnel de cinq-quilles arrive au village pour s'entraîner loin des pressions du public et de son ennemi juré.

When the rural community of Girouxville, Alberta discover their funding request to renovate the local curling rink has been denied, the women from the Club d’étoile take matters into their own hands by building a five-pin bowling alley in the hopes of creating a tourist attraction to save their shrinking village. But things take an unexpected turn when a dishonoured star from the world of professional five-pin bowling arrives from out East to train far away from the pressures of the public eye and of his sworn enemy.
